Nothing quite beats a 501 jean and these are something special. Regular fit on the hips and thighs with a straight leg. This fit was patented in 1873 and made for miners out West. The fit and evolved and been adapted to fit the needs and styles of each generation. The rigid denim is about 12.5 oz.

These are been upcycled in our atelier with tie-dye patches which are off-cuts from our cutting floor - helping reduce our waste whilst creating a truly unique jean. These look good with just about anything.

The labels say it is a W30 and L32 and it would fit a UK size 10 or 12 or our jean waist size 28/29 perfectly.

To reduce returns and so impact on our environment please follow the below measurements that have been taken for this individual piece and follow the 'how to measure ' guide to see if this garment is your perfect match.

Composition & Care
Size Guide

Measure yourself as tight or as relaxed as you would want to wear your jeans to fit. Stretch denim gives around your shape more 100% cotton denim may ease a little around your body over time.

Bust - measure full bust at widest point

Waist - for vintage garments the was it measurement is given at the top edge of the jean. First find out where the jean will sit on your body using the rise measurement given. Then measure your waist at that point.

Hip - measure at widest point.

Rise - is where the top of the waistband of the jean will sit on the body.  Measure from crotch point to top of the waistband.

Inseam - measure from crotch point to ankle for your full size leg length. On vintage garments we give the inseam as measured on the garment. For our own collection we make the style to fit either an inseam of 30 inches, 32 inches or 34 inches and tell you if the garment is full length or cropped.
